The Mushroom Powder Set holds five pouches of 100 g each: Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Turkey Tail and Chaga, 500 g in total. Each powder is a single mushroom, dried and milled, with nothing added. A serving is 3 g, one level teaspoon, so each pouch gives about 33 servings.
What is in the box
- Five powders of 100 g: Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus), Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris), Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) and Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)
- Fruiting-body material only: no grain-grown mycelium, no starch, no sweeteners
- 3 g (one level teaspoon) of a mushroom per cup, in 200–250 ml of water at 70–80 °C
- 500 g — about a month of all five, every day
Farm-grown species are grown, dried and milled by us; chaga is the exception, harvested wild from birch. No health claims are authorised for any of these mushrooms in the EU, so we make none.
A day with the set
The set follows the way these mushrooms are traditionally scheduled. Morning: one cup of Lion’s Mane and one of Cordyceps. During the day: Turkey Tail or Chaga. Evening: Reishi. For each cup, pour 200–250 ml of water at 70–80 °C over 3 g of powder, steep for 5–10 minutes and stir. We suggest hot rather than boiling water because it makes a milder, less bitter cup. Reishi and chaga are bitter: cocoa, milk or plant cream, honey or cinnamon soften them.
Price per gram and per month
The set costs 119 € for 500 g, which is about 0.24 € a gram, or 0.71 € for each 3 g cup. Drinking all five every day uses 15 g, so the set lasts about 33 days at roughly 3.60 € a day.
Powder or extract
Powder is the whole mushroom: good value per gram, and the ritual is a drink. Hot water mostly extracts the water-soluble part, such as beta-glucans; compounds that need alcohol to dissolve stay in the powder. The liquid double extracts cover both fractions and need no brewing. Every species here also exists that way: Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Turkey Tail and Chaga, and the first four are sold together in the double extract set. All species are listed under mushrooms.
Who should be careful
Do not take these mushrooms in pregnancy or breastfeeding, give them to children, or use them if you are allergic to mushrooms. Ask your doctor first if you take anticoagulants, immunosuppressants or diabetes medication, have an autoimmune condition, or have surgery planned. Chaga contains oxalates, so people with kidney disease or kidney stones should ask first.
Questions people ask
Where should I start?
Lion’s Mane in the morning and Reishi in the evening is the simplest two-cup day.
Why not boiling water?
70–80 °C is our recommendation: hot enough to infuse the powder, with a gentler flavour than a rolling boil.
Can I cook with it?
Yes. A teaspoon stirs into porridge, soup or a smoothie.
Good to know. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
